This is the intro I made for GGG's "Home On the RAGE"--a short horror film Tickets available here: https://gf2021legacy.brownpapertickets.com/ **please note** The maga hat is in there for satirical purposes only, as the film contains that sort of character. I do not endorse maga or Trump.

Virtual concert venue built in Mozilla Hubs

I threw this prototype together using mainly assets within Mozilla Spoke and Sketchfab, to explore how live stream concerts can be made more immersive with a webVR environment. This is a pre-recorded video pulled from Youtube, but stream can be imported through Hubs/Spoke. Here is the link if anyone would like to look around for themselves: https://hubs.mozilla.com/hubqWZd/virtual-concert

    Preview Reel (template practice)

I created this reel from a template to use as my Fiverr reel, but then backed down from using Fiverr for various reasons.. thought I'd share here. Made from various things I've worked on--same old stuff from my main reel, mainly.

doing some prototypes in TD for the purpose of eventually doing concert visuals using this software. It may be hard to see, because my screen recording was glitching severely for some reason--but the particle images are morphing into one another, and then I'm also switching blending modes and color and stuff to experiment.

CETI's first virtual gallery exhibition: "System Failure. Please Restart."

The Creative and Emergent Technology Institute (CETI) debuted its first virtual art show of its Gallery of the Future project in October 2020. The gallery spaces were created around the theme of an abandoned mall, and were built in Mozilla Hubs scene editor. Check out the main hub here, which also links out to the other spaces: https://hubs.mozilla.com/kLEFNbf/system-failure-please-restart "Join 42 artists as they dismantle, critique, interpret, and reinvent the future through their chosen medium, to design for justice and for community --to help us reimagine a more hopeful, equitable future." For portfolio purposes, I've only included the two gallery spaces I've built or collaborated on: the main mall hub, and an ice skating rink. Other spaces include an electronics store, arcade, parking garage, and service hallways. More documentation to come. https://ceti.institute/gallery-of-the-future/index.html (web design by Alanna Risse) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PfDZXZMta2foENuutjSSg62S4Y739Prq/view (Show catalog by Nandini Ranganathan)

CETI at the Winter Light Festival (Compilation)

A look at some of the projects in CETI's show, "Constellations" at the 2020 Portland Winter Light Festival. Work was displayed around three sites: The Riveter, 11:11 Supply, and Kex Portland. Uploading for portfolio purposes, but only the work shown in the first part of the video is mine. "Embers" is an interactive, zodiac-based installation built around the idea of tending the fire to influence the stars. Created by Bernardo Pantoja, Nick Rivas and Hilary Tsai using Isadora and LeapMotion Footage documentation: Bernardo Pantoja, Jessica Liu, Alanna Risse, Stephen Lee, Miguel Higgins Moy Edited by Hilary Tsai Poster Design by Sparkman

    Black History Remix Documentation

Taken the night of Feb. 24th, 2018 at Irvington Elementary in NE Portland. Screenwriter Layna Lewis produced Black History Remix for the third year running, this time in collaboration with PNCA. Background visuals were created by Marin Vesely, Monica McGrane and myself, under Layna's direction and specification. This video includes only my portion of design content, for portfolio purposes. We rear-projected onto three screens, using three Optoma short throws.
